WHAT WE’RE LEARNING

Strong skills, curious minds.

Our third graders learn through modeling, discussion, practice, movement, small groups, and independent work.

CLASSROOM ROUTINES

How our classroom works.

These are the routines students practice so our room stays safe, calm, inclusive, and ready for learning.

Homework & folders

A weekly packet goes home Monday and is due Friday. Complete one page each night. Check the folder for papers and return anything marked for school.

Classroom expectations

Be safe. Be respectful. Be responsible. Students use voice levels 0–4, follow directions, care for materials, and keep hands, feet, and objects to themselves.

Communication

ClassDojo is best for non-urgent questions. Please allow up to 48 hours during school days for a response. Weekends, holidays, and school breaks are not included.

Transportation changes

All dismissal changes must be confirmed through the school office. This protects your child and ensures every adult has the same information.

Technology

Students use Chromebooks for assigned learning only. Devices should be handled carefully, charged when sent home, and returned each school day.

Supporting learning at home

Read together for 20 minutes, ask your child to explain their thinking, practice multiplication facts, and celebrate steady effort—not just correct answers.

Before sending a message…

Check the FAQ below, your child’s homework folder, and the latest ClassDojo announcement. Your answer may already be waiting for you.
